Steps to using the
Online Picture Directory Resource
There are a few easy steps to get you started using the Online Directory. We have placed a number of safeguards to prevent any unauthorized use of the directory. This creates extra steps in the Registration process, but we feel this is worth it for the security of sensitive information.
1. You will need a "passphrase" in order to register.
This is the first security step. Simply email directory@vineyardcc.com and ask for the passphrase for website registration. This will not be your password, it's simply a way to prevent automated registrations by spammers and hackers.
2. Go to the vineyardcc.com home page and find the "Members" box.
There you will find "No account yet? Register" Click "Register" and you will go to the Registration Page.
3. On the Registration Page, fill out the form.
The info you enter here is not your directory listing, it is only for Registration purposes. In Step 6 you can update your Directory Listing.
The Passphrase is what you should have been emailed back as detailed in Step 1.
Choose your own Username, this will be used when you Login to the directory.
Your First and Last Names are required, we will use this info to confirm that you're a part of our church community.
Your Email address that you enter here is not used for any correspondance not related to the newsletter and will not be added to the Directory, and we do not share or sell infomation with outside entities.
Come up with your own Password, don't use the Passphrase we emailed you!
4. You will receive a confirmation email.
Follow the steps in the email. An administrator will review your pending registration.
5. Once approved, Login on the vineyardcc.com home page.
You will be taken directly to the Online Directory Page.
6. Update your Directory Information and your Directory Picture.
In the menu on the right, click the appropriate links.
The Directory Update Form is where you choose what information we will publish. You can ask us to list only certain info or not list any info at all here.
Upload a Directory Picture separately using the link in the menu.
You can also edit your Account Details as they will appear in the Web User List, a handy tool where you can email registered users directly. You can change your password and image (different than your Online Directory Image.)
7. To print your own directory pages, click the Open as PDF or Print icons in the upper right corner of the Directory.
